The Pictures of Introducing Yinyi Ecovillage

Xuefeng

April 4, 2016

(Translated by Xidai and Edited by Kaer)

These pictures introduce Yinyi Ecovillage. Please enjoy them. We now have twenty-six permanent members living here. Though our home is still under construction, it already has a big dining room which can hold a hundred people, orchards, the camping base with its conveniences of water and electricity, a viewing platform, an entertainment platform, gardens, self-planting seeds, vegetable fields, and growing land. At present, we plant broad beans, peas, and potatoes, and we will add corn and soybeans soon. We have two windbreaks and are raising six pigs, eight sheep, 180 chickens, and are now building a hen house which will hold 120 chickens. Soon, we will raise ducks and geese. We also have a pond with goldfish. Two roads in our home are solid enough for trucks and tractors, plus we also have wooden plank roads leading to our members’ tents. We make our own compost and have both a fishpond and a duck pond.
