The Signs of Spring in the Cold Season of Canada Branch

Xuefeng

December 5, 2023

Some great minds describe the scenery of the northern regions as 'a thousand miles of ice, a myriad miles of drifting snow.'"

In late November 2022, the temperature at Canada Branch plummeted to minus 36 degrees Celsius, truly embodying the notion of a "thousand miles frozen in ice." However, in early December 2023, the lowest temperature here was only around minus 6 degrees Celsius. Compared to 2022, this was an increase of 30 degrees. Even so, situated at approximately 50 degrees north latitude, it is still considered a cold season, with chilling winds causing trees to wither. But look here – the plants are flourishing, lush and green, just as a sense of spring, illuminated by the brilliant sunshine.

From this, we gain an insight: even in the most challenging days, as long as we are adept at creating and diligent in our efforts, we can carve out a warm and harmonious living space for ourselves in the harsh seasons.

Please take a look at the pictures.
