 Community Description
We are an Organic Farm that has a few animals(goats, chickens and bees) But we are more than that we are a spiritual Community that gathers twice a day at our Cabin to sing, share our hearts, and pray.

We share a common life together based on the teachings of Yahshua, the son of God, actually doing the things that He commanded His disciples to do when He walked on the earth 2000 years ago. And, in a nutshell, what He commanded us to do is to love one another as He loved us. Not only is that a command, but it is deep in our hearts to do this.

Our life is a life of self-sacrifice, where we are continually meeting the needs of those around us. Each of us that live here are fully devoting ALL of our time, energy, and possessions – everything – to seeing the reality of what is in our Creator’s heart come about on the earth.

 About Us

Gladheart Farm is a 7.5 acre Farm located just minutes from the cultural mecca of downtown Asheville, NC. At its purchase, Gladheart Farm was a prime development property, but was bought and turned back into agricultural use. With a growing trend away from small farms coupled with unstable energy prices, we felt it was important to preserve one of the most basic foundation stones in our society - local food. Because of this belief, this small urban farm is growing in a sustainable direction. All equipment and greenhouses are powered by bio-diesel whenever possible which is made from waste vegetable oil and all produce is sold locally, providing the consumer with the freshest quality without the unnecessary high transportation costs.

Gladheart Farm welcomes visitors. We are a full scale farm and are happy to stop and talk with people who come by. We sell direct from our farm as well as wholesale to various markets in the area. We have alpine goats and also welcome volunteers to come work on the farm. We hope you will stop by if you are in the area.
