Preparing for the feast, young fairies are here

On June 10th, we received a request to host a banquet for a 60th birthday celebration, consisting of 22 tables for lunch and over a dozen tables for dinner, with each table seating 10 guests. Approximately 200 guests attended the event. With a diverse selection of dishes, after everyone had their breakfast, preparations for vegetables and cooked food began in full swing. It was a coordinated effort, with everyone pitching in and working happily. Managing our own rural tourism business, each sibling is both a boss and a service provider. Some curious guests would inquire, 'You all look like a family running the place.' We didn't introduce ourselves but they could see it clearly.


It was the first time for me to participate in such a grand catering event. The day was lively from morning to night, with high spirits, orderly cooperation and successful completion of tasks. However, some siblings had already helped to prepare a large banquet of 38 tables before a few of us arrived, making this banquet seem relatively small.


On the day of the feast, the young female members, Danrui, Peiyao, Bixin, and Shaohua came to help.In the prime of their youth, they exuded vitality and energy, with each being mischievous, lively, and cheerful. Since a very young age, they lived with their parents in the Second Home, witnessing the development and hardships of the community from its inception. Over the years, they have repeatedly moved in and out of the community. Now, after more than a decade, they have returned to  the community. Each has grown into a beautiful young woman, shaped by years of education and nurturing in the community. They have developed qualities such as physical and mental health, strong practical skills, a love for labor, excellence in various aspects, and an independent mindset. Their lives have been colorful, and their youth has been spent in a new way of life. On the community's stage, we often see their radiant smiles.
