We all know that our new member, Singapore sister Xilian’s profession is a homeopathic therapist. With her healing hands, she helps patients resolve a wide range of ailments—spiritual, psychological, and physical. Moreover, she is a philanthropist who has opened a free clinic in Pakistan, providing treatment at no cost to impoverished children and local people.
During the days of living closely with her in the Thai Home, we discovered more of her little secrets. She has a love for beauty and a deep affection for nature, and she enjoys flower arranging and decorating. Wherever she lives or stays, her touch transforms the space into something more refined and beautiful.
Gifted with natural energy, she needs only three to four hours of sleep each night, devoting the rest of her time to reading and learning—delving into psychology, various therapeutic methods that benefit others, and all kinds of knowledge and skills that help her release her powerful energy. She never does things carelessly; when treating patients and writing treatment reports, she is meticulous, thorough, and professional. She is a highly skilled, morally upright doctor, worthy of her patients’ trust.
Not only in her profession, but also in daily life, she strives for excellence. When preparing meals for everyone, each dish is rich in color, aroma, and flavor, infused with her care and love. When teaching Swedish muscle relaxation massage, she invests her whole self with both professionalism and passion, allowing those she massages to feel boundless relaxation and tender care.
Although she holds herself to high standards in many ways, she also carries a childlike heart—innocent, playful, and full of joy. She loves children, and her gentle kindness shines through. Sometimes she herself is like a child—playful, cheerful, with a bright and hearty laugh. Her crescent-shaped eyes curve with mischief and charm when she smiles, making her feel approachable and deeply lovable.
When swimming with us at the pool, she was inspired with the idea of building a swimming pool at the Thai Home. Later, after cycling with Yangle to the mango grove to visit Yaqian and Daqi, she experienced the joy of riding and wanted to buy more bicycles so that everyone could share in the fun together.
Xilian spent a week at the Thai Home filled with passion and selfless dedication. Yesterday, she reluctantly bid farewell to her family here. We took group photos together, full of love, respect, and gratitude for her, wishing her happiness, smooth journeys, and fulfillment in everything. We look forward to welcoming her back into the embrace of the Home next month.
Please enjoy the photos, and thanks to Brother Daodi and all brothers and sisters for capturing them!
