Mission Statement

conservation, education, preservation and sustainability.

Community Description

We are a group living in the beautiful north Georgia mountains on ancient, sacred Cherokee land. Here on the original site of the Enotah tribe & the legendary Camp Pioneer, we have four waterfalls, five streams, and two ponds. We offer work exchange (a stipend is available for those who qualify); and we run an ecotourism site with a retreat center, campground, and certified organic farm with animals.

We are dedicated to conservation of the land, sustainable living, raising healthy animals, and organic farming. The work we gladly give to maintain this retreat facility and farm has been worth our personal dedication as we offer a loving, memorable experience to those who come to enjoy our property.

We have a diverse group who work here, short term and long term. We are committed to working in peaceful, loving, purposeful service as we see the Divine in all of humanity and in nature.

We are looking for sound, responsible, service-minded individuals for a variety of on-site tasks including maintenance, housekeeping, farm work (including animal care and agriculture), and general duties to take care of daily business. Committed individuals and couples who are passionate about preserving this land, making campers feel welcomed and taking care of day-to-day operations are encouraged to apply!

We are a conservative, family-based organization. There is no smoking, drinking or drug use allowed on site by our volunteers. No visible tattoos or piercings, men must be clean shaven with short hair.
