Yesterday's Progress at Kataier
Xuefeng
April 7, 2014
(Translated by Tongxin and Edited by Kaer)
The first pear flowers blossomed yesterday and billions of pear flowers will blossom soon. They wait to be pollinated like thousands of young women waiting for love.
Installation of the roofs on the bathrooms and toilets are finished, the same work for the canteen has begun and will be finished tomorrow. Stoves in the kitchen are almost complete.
Yesterday, we enriched our supply of fruits by buying and planting peach trees, apricot trees, walnut trees, fig trees, grape trees, and apple trees. Besides thousands of pear trees already here, there are jujube trees (fruit trees native to Asia) and apple pear trees (also called the nashi pears, similar to apples and pears but genetically unrelated to either). We also planted seedlings of chillie, tomatoes, and cucumbers.
Please enjoy these photos of our work.
