Having endured the harsh cold of winter,

passed through the refreshing spring,

grown in the not-too-hot summer,now autumn has arrived,

and the courtyard flower of Lifechanyuan finally blooms.

Silently it exerts its power, displaying celestial grace;
with vibrant hues, it enchants the heart.
It does not contend with peach and plum for spring’s favor,
but reveals its unique fragrance, as if in a dream.

Its slender form sways like a dance in the breeze,
its soft petals gleam like silk in the morning dew.
Who says the Chanyuan Celestial is merely ordinary?
When the time comes, they will radiate seven-colored Buddhist light.
